Andrea and Bentley’s same-sex wedding in Downtown Dallas was a celebration filled with love, joy, and unforgettable moments. Their wedding at The Laurel was the perfect venue for their vibrant personalities, and I was so honored to capture it all. From the first look to the final dance, every moment of the day reflected their deep connection and the beautiful love they share.
The day started with Andrea and Bentley’s first look—an emotional and intimate moment between the two of them. The sun was shining brightly as they saw each other for the first time in their wedding attire. It was the perfect way to begin their special day, and we had plenty of time to capture some stunning portraits outside before the weather turned. Their bridal party, dressed in vibrant coral dresses and grey suits, added a pop of color to the day, complementing the beautiful floral arrangements perfectly.
Though the weather didn’t stay sunny for long, we were fortunate to get all of their portraits completed before the rain arrived right after the ceremony. It was such a sweet moment when Andrea and Bentley shared their vows and said “I do” surrounded by family and friends. The rain didn’t stop us from capturing some beautiful outdoor shots after the ceremony, and we managed to take full advantage of the stunning surroundings at The Laurel.
One of my favorite moments of the day was when Bentley’s cousin Kensey officiated their wedding. I had the pleasure of photographing Kensey’s wedding the year before, and it was such an honor to capture this next chapter of Andrea and Bentley’s journey. The love between the couple was palpable throughout the day, and I truly felt lucky to be part of such an intimate celebration.
The reception was an absolute blast! There was so much energy and laughter, and the guests danced late into the night. The couple’s love for each other was evident in every smile, every touch, and every moment shared with their loved ones. The entire day felt like a perfect reflection of Andrea and Bentley’s relationship—fun, vibrant, and full of joy.
