Anna & Nicolas. Romantic Elopement in Paris at Sunrise

Sep 28, 2025

There is a reason Paris is considered the most romantic city in the world. For centuries, couples have chosen this timeless city to celebrate their love, surrounded by art, history, and breathtaking architecture.

Anna and Nicolas’ intimate Paris elopement began at sunrise, when the streets were still quiet and free from crowds. The early morning light gave their portraits a soft, romantic feel — exactly what they envisioned for their day.

Our first stop was the Petit Palais, where the golden doors and elegant arches framed the couple in a way that felt cinematic. Just steps away, we crossed to the Pont Alexandre III. By then, the sun had risen high, creating a more dramatic, editorial mood with bold light and striking shadows across the bridge.

From there, we wandered to the Palais Royal, where the light softened again, perfect for capturing tender, candid moments in the courtyard and against the iconic black-and-white columns. Finally, we ended at the Louvre, where Anna and Nicolas shared quiet embraces with the museum’s grand architecture as their backdrop.

Every location added a different layer to their story — soft and romantic at dawn, bold and editorial on the bridge, and timelessly elegant in the courtyards and galleries. It’s no wonder Paris remains the city where so many couples dream of saying “I do.”

For Anna and Nicolas, this wasn’t just about portraits. It was a celebration of love in a city that has inspired romance for generations.

Love, Julia
