Meet Meaghan and Marc! This Dallas downtown engagement session was so much fun! I loved getting to photograph these two and their love for each other, they are naturals! Just look at Marc’s smile when he is looking at Meaghan!

I am a huge fan of downtown engagement sessions and I was so happy that Meaghan and Marc, who also live in downtown agreed to do their session there! There is so much variety in the city that you can find lots of different spaces to photograph in a short period of time. We started with our photos around Perot Museum and then went to Saint Ann restaurant and Mercat Bistro and took some more photos around there.  We could not have asked for a better weather! It was raining in the morning and we had overcast skies when we just started and by the end of our session we had the most beautiful glowing sun! What a perfect weather for the perfect couple!

Marc and Meaghan have such a wonderful story! They met through a mutual friend and knew about each other’s existence for a while, but never met. Until one day their friend asked them both if she could set them up because she believed they would be perfect together… and she could not have been more right! They went on that first date and never looked back! While Marc was working the proposal plans Meaghan had another even more exciting surprise for him! While their little boy was on the way  Marc wasted no time and proposed Meaghan in the middle of their living room in front of their three dogs! It was such a pleasure to watch them together. The quiet comfort they share, the way they look at each other and their little son Liam…. by now you could have guessed that this engagement session was actually for three.

 

But today’s little story is only about Marc and Meaghan and I will keep the rest for the next time 😉
