Meet Julia and Nick! Oh, my! I don’t even know where to start! These two are just amazing people. Until this Monday all of my communication with Julia was only online. Usually I like to meet with all of my brides just to make sure that we are the perfect fit for each other. With Julia, we were not able to meet, but also, I didn’t need it. From the second e-mail that I received from her, I knew that she is my perfect bride. Because there will be more posts dedicate to these incredible people I will share more about them later, and for now I want to share only their story, as I think it’s so wonderful and romantic!
Julia and Nick met back in 2016 in California at their friend’s wedding. At this time Julia was already living in Munich and Nick was working for NASA in Houston. They hit off immediately, and after the wedding started taking online. 3 months later, Nick went to visit her in Germany. And another 6 months later he moved in with Julia. When you meet the right person you know it, and even universe is there to help you, right?!
This past summer they went to Morocco for summer vacation. I don’t know about you, but when I think of Morocco I think exotic! I remember all the movies and imagine it being so vibrant, authentic, with lot’s of exotic smells and sounds…. oh, yes! Back to Julia and Nick! 🙂 … They went to Sahara. They traveled by camels, went through sand and rain storm, and in the evening they sat around the campfire and watched the skies, sang and played drums. As they climbed a sand dune to watch the starts Nick got on one knee. Julia didn’t let him finish his questioned…. 🙂 How romantic is that?!?!
You have no idea how excited I am to be the one photographing their wedding! They are in town for Christmas holidays and we finally got to meet in person. I had such wonderful time photographing them! they are the sweetest people and sooo cute! They picked my two most favorite locations for their engagement photos. First we went to the Art District by Winspear Opera House, and this represented their classy side. And after that we went to Deep Ellum to represent their “alternative” side 🙂 And in just a couple more weeks we will be doing another shoot with Julia and Nick. In Munich! Make sure you don’t miss it! 🙂
